To give under-privileged children from a minority Christian background in Pakistan a chance to continue into further and higher education. Too many children with great potential never get the chance to reach their full due to poverty, discrimination and the cost of tertiary education in Pakistan.

Beneficiaries
The Christian minority in Pakistan are from the poorest backgrounds. They work as day labourers in agriculture, as sweepers or in brick kilns.. The majority of the Christian population earn less than £2 per day and as such are unable to pay the fees for post 16 education. Without access to further and higher education their opportunities for betterment are severely limited and they are destined to continue working as low paid workers often falling into debt and servitude.
We support 44 low-fee schools to provide a quality basic education from kindergarten to Matriculation for approx. 10,000 children. This on it's own isn't sufficient to break the cycle of poverty. Enabling children to continue in education or technical training opens up their prospects to more stable and well-paid employment. A good quality degree not only gives access to commercial employment but also to well paid government quota jobs. Through scholarships we currently help 200+ young people.
